Materials selected for turbo duty:
PTFE inner liner — resists coking, non-stick; maintains integrity –65°C to +260°C; compatible with all engine oils, coolant, methanol, brake fluid.
Nylon inner braid — structural reinforcement, distributes burst loads.
304 stainless outer braid — abrasion protection and radiant heat reflection.
Zinc-plated carbon steel fittings/ferrules (not aluminum) — withstand high-temp softening/galling; zinc for corrosion resistance, steel maintains torque and thread integrity.

This kit uses factory-crimped ferrules, not field-assembled reusable ends. Reusable fittings rely on correct torque and can loosen with thermal cycling; crimped ferrules are hydraulically pressed for a permanent, vibration-proof bond. Each assembly is hydrostatically tested. For racing/performance, this reliability is critical.

Step 1: Identify oil feed on block (near filter/sender) and turbo inlet.
Step 2: Lubricate AN flare seats with oil for proper torque.
Step 3: Connect 90° elbow to turbo center housing for clearance.
Step 4: Connect straight end to block/remote source using adapter.
Step 5: Torque AN fittings to 12–15 ft-lbs (AN-4); no sealant/tape on flare (metal-to-metal, clean/dry).
Step 6: Route hoses away from heat/moving parts; secure with zip ties.
Step 7: Prime turbo by cranking (ignition/fuel off) 10–15 sec to circulate oil.
Step 8: Start engine, check for leaks at idle/load, re-torque after heat cycle.
Hengshui Speed Drive–HaoFa offers full customization: AN-3 to AN-10, lengths 30cm–3m, fitting angles (45°/120°/180°), stainless steel upgrade, custom banjo, laser-engraved private labeling, pre-configured for specific turbos (e.g., GT35, S300). MOQ 50.
Each kit packed in a single export-grade corrugated carton with foam dividers. Hoses coiled and secured with reusable Velcro straps. Fittings and adapters sorted by type in labeled PE bags. Copper washers in separate hardware bag. Laminated installation guide with torque specifications, turbo compatibility chart, and routing recommendations included. Port: Qingdao or Tianjin. Incoterms: FOB, CIF, CFR.

Q: Why PTFE instead of rubber for turbo oil lines?
A: Rubber oil lines fail in turbo applications for two reasons: (1) Coking—after engine shutdown, residual oil in the line is heated by the turbine housing to 200–300°C. This bakes the oil onto the rubber inner surface, progressively restricting flow until the turbo starves for oil. PTFE is non-stick and does not coke. (2) Temperature degradation—rubber embrittles and cracks after sustained exposure to turbocharger radiant heat. PTFE maintains full integrity from -65°C to +260°C, well beyond any temperature the hose will experience in service. For turbocharged engines, PTFE lines are a fit-and-forget upgrade.
Q: Will this kit fit my specific turbocharger?
A: This kit is designed for universal fitment with turbochargers using standard AN-4 oil inlet ports (the most common size for Garrett GT/GTX/G-series, BorgWarner EFR, and Precision turbochargers). The included straight adapters and 90° elbows cover most engine block oil gallery threads. If your turbo uses a different port size (AN-3, AN-6, or metric threads), contact us with your turbocharger model for a custom-configured kit with pre-verified fitting sizes.
Q: Are the crimped ferrules serviceable?
A: No—crimped ferrules create a permanent assembly. This is intentional: reusable fittings can loosen from vibration and thermal cycling. If a hose is damaged, the entire assembly is replaced. However, with proper installation, PTFE hoses with crimped ferrules typically outlast the vehicle. We offer individual replacement hose assemblies if needed.
Q: Can I use these lines for water cooling as well as oil?
A: Yes. PTFE is compatible with water, water/glycol coolant, and engine oil. The same hose construction is suitable for both fluids. The kit is typically configured with two hoses—one for oil feed and one for a water cooling line—but can be specified for dual oil (feed + drain) or dual water (feed + return) configurations.
Q: What information do you need for a quotation?
A: Please provide: Turbocharger make and model, desired line type (oil feed, oil drain, water feed, water return), AN hose size needed, required hose lengths, fitting end preferences (90°, straight, 45°), total quantity, and shipping terms (FOB/CIF). Response within 24 hours.
